Russian forces launch over 60 attacks along front line, heaviest fighting in three sectors

Russian forces have launched 61 attacks on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions since the start of the day, concentrating their main efforts on the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Lyman sectors of the front.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update published on Facebook as of 16:00 on Sunday, July 26.

Russian artillery shelled the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Yastrubshchyna, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, and Neskuchne in the Sumy region, as well as Senkivka in the Chernihiv region.

Russian aircraft also carried out airstrikes near Tovstodubove and Ulanove in the Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian troops made no attempts to advance but shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 34 times.
