Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian positions 70 times since the beginning of the day. The enemy is applying the greatest pressure on the Pokrovsk sector of the front and has also shown significant activity in the Sloviansk sector.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff released the operational update as of 16:00 on Monday, July 13, on Facebook.
Russian artillery continues to shell border areas. Today, enemy fire has already targeted Korenok, Ryzhivka, Volfyne, Sopych, Vilna Sloboda, Neskuchne, Kucherivka, Khliborob, and Yastrubshchyna in the Sumy region, as well as Poliushkyne and Senkivka in the Chernihiv region.
Russian forces also carried out airstrikes in the Sumy region, targeting Kucherivka, Stari Vyrky, and Tovstodubove.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian troops launched one assault against Ukrainian positions and carried out 20 shelling attacks, including strikes on populated areas. One of the enemy attacks was conducted using a multiple rocket launcher system.
