Following a notable increase in car sales in Morocco during the first half of 2026, the North African nation now stands as one of Renault Group's most significant overseas markets.

Between January and June, 49,821 passenger and light commercial cars were sold in Morocco, according to Renault, a 13.7% increase over the same time previous year.

Morocco became one of the company's best markets outside of Europe as a result of the performance, underscoring its increasing significance to Renault's objectives for global development.

The Moroccan market was a significant contributor to Renault's development outside of sales, increasing by 61.2%, Mexico, with 16.3% growth, Turkey, with 15.4% growth, and Brazil, with a 5.3% gain, as seen in Morocco World News.

Renault's great performance in Morocco occurred although its global sales remained basically constant.
