Check your email because Samsung has started sending out the promised $30 reserve credit to anyone who registered interest in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.
The $30 credit applies automatically at checkout on a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or Fold8, on top of up to $1,230 in total savings once trade-in value is factored in.
If you’re buying outright rather than trading in, Samsung is giving away a further $200 store credit for no-trade-in purchases. To be clear, that’s not $200 off the phone as we’ve seen with other Samsung no-trade-in promotions, just a credit to spend on Samsung.com.
Combined with the PayPal $100, and free subscriptions to Amazon Music and Adobe Lightroom, it’s a decent if not spectacular pre-order deal. However, the real discounts will come in the next two months if you can wait.
