The “instant” part of the Samsung trade-in is the key here – it will come off the total you have to spend at checkout today on your Fold 8/Ultra pre-order. However, Amazon is serving up to $600 back alongside a $350 gift with trade-ins on pre-orders as well.

While it would appear the instant $1,200 off the new Fold 8 series devices is the best trade-in over on the Samsung site, that’s only if you have last year’s Fold to flip or this year’s flagship S26 Ultra.
