Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) gathered in Overport today for the LLE SIYOFESA March.
Hundreds of members and supporters of Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) gathered in Overport today for the LLE SIYOFESA March, calling for stricter enforcement of South Africa's labour laws, greater employer accountability, and stronger protection of workers' rights.
The peaceful march began at Malls Tiles in Overport and proceeded along Brickfield Road before concluding at Sparks Road.
Organisers said the demonstration aimed to encourage compliance with employment legislation while raising public awareness of workers' rights and employers' legal obligations.
Ahead of the march, LLE leadership engaged with the South African Police Service (SAPS) to ensure the demonstration was conducted peacefully, orderly, and lawfully.
