Labour Laws Enforcement confronts a man, believed to be the owner of an Overport Shell garage, over allegations of employing undocumented foreign nationals and failing to comply with South Africa's labour laws.
"We are going to stop you," a group from the Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) told a man, believed to be the owner of a Shell garage in Overport, on Wednesday over allegations relating to employment practices.
In the widely shared video from LLE, the group confronted the man, alleging that the business employed undocumented foreign nationals and failed to comply with South Africa's labour laws.
LLE members could be heard telling him, "We are going to stop you," to which he responded, "You will not stop me," before adding, "Stop shouting at me."
As tensions escalated, crowd members moved closer to the man, shouting profanities and accusing him of employing foreign nationals.
