LAPO Microfinance Bank has responded to reports alleging that employees were being compelled to work on Saturdays and public holidays as part of an intensified loan recovery exercise, saying it is reviewing concerns raised over the implementation of the work arrangements.
The bank, in a statement signed by Oluremi Akande, Director, Marketing and Communications, said it was aware of concerns surrounding recent work arrangements associated with certain loan recovery activities.
“LAPO Microfinance Bank is aware of the concerns raised regarding recent work arrangements associated with certain loan recovery activities,” the statement said.
