Cassper Nyovest will be hosting the 2026 South African Music Awards.
The multi-award-winning rapper announced on social media that he had reached an agreement with the Samas after not seeing eye to eye for 10 years.
"After 10 years of not seeing eye to eye, they called me in and we have come to an agreement !!! This is gonna be huge!!!! 15 August !! We are going to Sun City and I am your OFFICIAL HOST!!!"
In his video, Nyovest reflected on his once-strained relationship with the awards, “You know me and the SAMAs have had a lot of issues, but they called me, we sat down, and I’m very excited to be here.”
