Russian forces have launched 79 attacks against the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces since the beginning of the day.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
"As of 16:00, the aggressor has carried out 79 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces," the General Staff said.
According to the report, Russian artillery continues to shell border areas. Today, the Sumy region came under fire in the settlements of Neskuchne, Korenok, Sopich, Potapivka, Kucherivka, Rohizne, Budky, Volfyne, Ulanove, Buniakyne, Seredyna-Buda, Buvalyne, Bachivsk, Hirky, Sukhodil, and Tovstodubove. In the Chernihiv region, the village of Zaliznyi Mist was shelled.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 32 strikes on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including one attack using a multiple launch rocket system.
