Suspended police officer Fannie Nkosi is expected to appear in the Pretoria High Court on Wednesday.
Suspended Organised Crime Police Officer Sergeant Fannie Nkosi is expected back in the Pretoria High Court on Wednesday.
Nkosi, an awaiting trial prisoner, was arrested on April 2 during a raid at his home in Pretoria North.
Nkosi, who faces multiple charges in Gauteng and Limpopo, is expected to have all the charges against him centralised. This comes after the National Prosecuting Authority successfully applied to have all the criminal cases against him heard together.
He was denied bail in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court and later attempted to appeal the court's decision in the High Court; however, the decision to have him remanded in custody was upheld by the higher court.
