Innolume has purchased Veeco’s GEN2000 Molecular Beam Epitaxy system to expand production of gallium arsenide-based quantum dot lasers for optical connectivity applications.

The investment aims to support growing demand for quantum dot lasers used in silicon photonics, optical transceivers, and AI data center infrastructure.

Innolume is also adopting Veeco’s Spector Ion Beam Deposition system to enhance in-house laser coating capabilities for photonic device manufacturing.
