NLM Photonics has added Pangaea Ventures and Diamond Edge Ventures to its investor base, alongside increased investments from several existing backers, to support commercialization of its organic photonics technology.
The funding will support development of organic hybrid photonic integrated circuits for optical transceivers, data-center interconnects and potential quantum computing applications.
NLM has reported demonstrations of 1.6-terabit and 3.2-terabit silicon-organic hybrid PICs and began customer sampling of those products in 2026.
