Swiss healthtech company Hilo by Aktiia has raised more than $119 million, including a $19 million Series B extension backed by Dell Family Office, to expand its wearable-and-app blood pressure platform into the US.

Hilo combines a wearable sensor, FDA-cleared cuff and algorithm-driven analytics to deliver around 30–35 blood pressure readings a day, replacing occasional cuff measurements with long-term trends.

With nearly half of US adults living with hypertension, Hilo’s continuous blood pressure monitoring can do for cardiovascular health what Fitbit did for activity tracking.

Swiss healthtech Hilo, developed by Aktiia, has secured more than $119 million in funding after closing a $19 million Series B extension, with new backing from Dell Family Office, the investment office of Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell, to expand its blood pressure platform into the United States.

This follows a $42 million Series B closed in May 2025, which brought total funding to $100 million and coincided with the company’s rebrand from Aktiia to Hilo.
