Heavy rain lashed several parts of Hyderabad between the evening of Monday (July 20, 2026) and the early hours of Tuesday (July 21, 2026), bringing down temperatures and providing relief from the prevailing warm and humid conditions. Light showers continued in a few parts of the city on Tuesday afternoon, although the rainfall remained localised and of low intensity.Hyderabad rain dataAccording to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Shamshabad recorded the highest rainfall of 3.4 cm followed by 3 cm in Mamidipalli, 3 cm in Kongarkalan, 2.3 cm in Banjara Hills, 2.2 cm in Hafeezpet, 2.1 cm in Madhapur, 2 cm in West Maredpally, 1.9 cm in Miyapur and 1.9 cm in Chandanagar.
