Maison Schiaparelli will open a store at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif., marking the brand’s first stand-alone boutique in the U.S.

The 2,244-square-foot space is slated to open this fall on Level 2, Nordstrom wing.

Designed in tandem with Schiaparelli’s creative director Daniel Roseberry and Stockholm-based architecture studio Halleroed, the boutique looks to bring the spirit of the brand’s famed salons at 21 Place Vendôme in Paris to California through the company’s latest retail concept. The space is conceived as an intimate, apartment-like destination, uniting craftsmanship with Surrealist fantasy. It will invite visitors into a sequence of immersive rooms where ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and bijoux will be presented in a uniquely Schiaparelli universe.

The brand has been represented on the West Coast with a shop-in-shop at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.
