The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested 147 suspects and recovered 250 expanded cartridges, machetes, illicit drugs and other exhibits during a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts across parts of the state.
The Command disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying the operation formed part of the ongoing Operation KO S’AYE III, an initiative aimed at dismantling criminal hideouts and denying criminals safe havens across Lagos.
According to the statement signed by the PPRO, Abimbola Adebisi, the operation was carried out at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2026, following credible intelligence.
It said “a joint team of operatives drawn from different formations of the Command carried out a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts at Boolar, Super Ile-Epo, and other identified black spots the state. The operation was aimed at flushing out hoodlums and other criminal elements terrorising the area.”
