Adebisi said a joint team of operatives drawn from different formations of the command stormed the locations at about 5:30 a.m. in a coordinated clearance exercise aimed at dismantling criminal enclaves and apprehending hoodlums allegedly terrorising residents.
The Lagos State Police Command says its operatives arrested 147 suspects and recovered weapons, suspected illicit drugs and other items during a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts across parts of the state as part of its ongoing Operation Ko Saye III.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the operation was carried out in the early hours of Sunday following intelligence reports on the activities of suspected criminals operating in Boolar, Super Ile-Epo and other identified black spots in Lagos.
