The company aims to build a 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sqm) data center on nine acres at the northwest corner of Kenyon Road and Illinois Route 25. The firm has submitted a power request application to Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) for 48MW of grid capacity. The site would use a closed-loop cooling system to reduce water use.

South Elgin is a village in Kane County, Illinois, some 40 miles west of Chicago.
