Precision metal component maker Global Tek Fabrication Co Ltd (時碩工業) yesterday said it expects revenue growth to be stronger in the second half of the year than in the first, driven by volume shipments of key components for artificial intelligence (AI) liquid-cooling systems beginning this quarter. The company has begun mass-producing components for liquid-cooling systems that it co-developed with a major Japanese supplier, Global Tek president Donald Huang (黃亞興) said at an earnings conference in Taipei. The products, including microchannel cold plate components, universal quick-disconnect fittings, manifolds, valve bodies and other fluid-control components, will ultimately be used in major cloud service providers’ servers based on Google’s tensor processing units, Huang said.
