Industrial PC maker Advantech Co (研華) yesterday said it expects to post double-digit percentage revenue growth this quarter, driven by robust demand for semiconductor equipment, artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and edge AI products. Order momentum is expected to remain strong in the second half of this year, with the book-to-bill ratio rising to 1.64 last month from 1.44 in the second quarter and monthly orders reaching a record US$574 million, Advantech president Eric Chen (陳清熙) told an earnings conference in Taipei. The company secured 123 design wins in the first half of this year, which are expected to generate US$444 million in revenue and provide growth momentum, he said.
