Air defense neutralized 81 drones with which the Russian army attacked Ukraine since the evening of July 19. Impacts from an aerial missile and nine enemy UAVs were recorded at nine locations.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, since 18:00 on Sunday, July 19, the Russians launched two guided Kh-59/69 cruise missiles and 94 strike drones of the Shahed type against Ukraine, including jet-powered ones, Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya-type decoy drones.
The missiles were launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, while the UAVs were launched from the areas of the Russian cities of Kursk, Millerovo, and Oryol, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of Hvardiiske (Crimea) and Donetsk.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
