Designers from across the Pacific concluded M4C Life-Con Pacific 2026 on Saturday night with a runway showcase featuring collections from Samoa and neighbouring island nations.
Among those taking part were Fijian designer Liti Danatapua and Vanuatu designer Gilbert Mermer, who said the event provided an opportunity to connect with other Pacific creatives and present their work to a regional audience.
Ms Danatapua, who was attending Life-Con Pacific in Samoa for the first time, described the experience as memorable.
"Coming to Samoa for the first time has been a beautiful experience. From the day I arrived, everyone was so welcoming, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to share my craft and culture. Everything has made this journey memorable," she told the Samoa Observer.
Mr Mermer said participating in the event was rewarding despite being away from home.
