AmaZulu FC owner Sandile Zungu has launched his campaign to become the next president of the South African Football Association (Safa), promising to restore ambition, improve governance and rebuild the foundations of South African football.

He will rival Danny Jordaan, who will be running for his fourth term, in the elections set to take place in September.

Zungu officially launched his campaign at Emperors Palace on Saturday, with leaders from various Safa regions attending the event in Johannesburg.

The businessman believes South African football has lost its ability to dream and needs a clear vision for the future.
