IDAC Ombud, headed by retired Judge Takalani Raulinga, will on Sunday address the media about what steps will be taken against IDAC following revelations at the Madlanga Commission this week.
All ears will be on the newly appointed Independent Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) Ombudsman, led by Retired Judge Takalani Raulinga, on Sunday, to hear what steps will be taken on IDAC’s multiplying controversies.
Raulinga will address the media following IDAC’s latest controversy, revealed at the Madlanga Commission.
The commission heard this week that the entity, which falls under the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), has overstepped its mark by laying criminal charges against Crime Intelligence (CI) bosses for matters that should have been handled by the police’s human resources (HR).
Another controversy is that IDAC abandoned charging CI head General Dumisani Khumalo and Major-General Nosipho Madondo, Intelligence Analysis and Coordination head, after they had submitted themselves at the Brooklyn police station in Pretoria on June 27.
