Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine 100 times. The occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 16:00 on Friday, July 17, Ukrinform reports.
The Russians shelled Korenok, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Sopych, Buniakyne, Hirske, Bezsalivka, and Pustohorod in the Sumy region, and Senkivka and Mykhalchyna Sloboda in the Chernihiv region with artillery. The enemy also carried out air strikes on Vilna Sloboda and Sumy.
No enemy attempts to advance were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, but the invaders carried out 24 shelling attacks, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
