Kasturba Hospitals Group, Manipal, handed over 45 health kits to the Udupi police on Friday.Each kit contained a blood pressure monitor, a digital blood glucose meter with test strips, and a thermometer.The kits were handed over to Udupi Superintendent of Police (SP) Hariram Shankar. They are meant for police stations in the district, police circle offices, sub-divisional offices, District Armed Reserve office, and the Office of the Superintendent of Police, a release said.The kits will be used to monitor the health of police personnel on a regular basis, the release added.
