Social Development Minister Dina Pule has defended her return to Cabinet, declaring that she has already faced the consequences of the scandal that ended her political career.
Pule said she learned from her mistakes and is prepared to do better.
In her first extensive comments since rejoining government under President Cyril Ramaphosa, Pule acknowledged that she had disappointed the country, but insisted the experience reshaped her life and leadership after spending more than a decade outside the executive office.
Pule was appointed as Social Development minister after Sisisi Tolashe was fired by Ramaphosa after allegations of maladministration within Tolashe’s department among other matters.
