President Cyril Ramaphosa's controversial Cabinet reshuffle sees the reappointment of Dina Pule, thirteen years after her dismissal for unethical behaviour.
Thirteen years after then-President Jacob Zuma dismissed controversial former communications minister Dina Pule for unethical behaviour, the ANC applauded President Cyril Ramaphosa for reintroducing her to the Cabinet.
As part of his Cabinet reorganisation on Tuesday, Ramaphosa announced Pule's appointment as the new Minister of Social Development.
Pule is replacing controversial Sisisi Tolashe, whom President Ramaphosa fired from the same department on May 14 for various unethical behaviour, including failure to disclose two luxury cars donated to the ANC Women's League, which were allegedly registered in her children's names.
Ramaphosa’s reshuffle also saw DA's Willem Aucamp becoming the Agriculture minister and David Maynier as Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment minister.
