Activists Peter Akah and Precious Oruche, popularly known as Mama Pee, on Thursday declared that they would not be intimidated into silence after completing a second round of questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations of naira abuse.
Speaking in a video posted on Akah’s X handle shortly after leaving the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, the duo said they remained committed to speaking against “poor governance.”
They also reaffirmed their support for Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 polls.
Akah said he and Mama Pee honoured the EFCC’s invitation on Wednesday after rescheduling an earlier appointment and were released around midnight before returning for further questioning on Thursday.
