Release Full, Unedited Video Of Gbajabiamila's Interrogation Now — Sowore Challenges ICPC, Dismisses PFIPC Probe As 'Smokescreen'

Fiery human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has challenged the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to immediately release the full, unedited recording of the reported interrogation of President Bola Tinubu's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, over the ongoing Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC) scandal.

Sowore made the demand on Tuesday, insisting that only the public release of the complete interrogation footage would demonstrate that the anti-graft agency was conducting a genuine and transparent investigation.

His demand came a day after Gbajabiamila's lawyer, Jiti Ogunye, confirmed that the President's Chief of Staff had honoured the ICPC's invitation and appeared before investigators to answer questions in connection with the alleged PFIPC scandal.

Ogunye disclosed on Monday that Gbajabiamila cooperated with investigators as part of the anti-corruption agency's ongoing probe into allegations surrounding the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council.
