The goalkeeper became one of Amakhosi’s latest signings during the current transfer window after joining the Soweto giants as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Sekhukhune United.
Leaner’s arrival at Naturena came after an impressive spell with Babina Noko, where he established himself as one of the club’s most dependable performers between the sticks.
The 28-year-old spent three seasons with Sekhukhune after joining from Maritzburg United in 2023, with the club later changing its name to Durban City FC whilst competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
