SIYANDA Ndlovu was announced by Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday in a controversial move as he was set to complete his medicals at Orlando Pirates.
Mamelodi Sundowns are coming out of the blocks in the transfer window much like they do on the pitch: exercising patience in the build-up and pouncing whenever they are given ample space and time.
Sundowns bolstered their squad with the signing of Siyanda Ndlovu from Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday. The duration of his contract is yet to be announced, though it’s believed to be long-term given that he’s only 25 years old.
Ndlovu arrives at the Brazilians with a lofty billing. He was a sensation in top-flight football last season, marshalling the Abafana Bes’thende engine room with ease thanks to his silky touches, trickery, and knack for goals.
The attacker combined all his qualities to score one of the best goals of last season against Stellenbosch in the Betway Premiership. So much so that his solo drive has been duly nominated for the Goal of the Season award.
