THE Active Citizens Movement (ACM) welcomes the opportunity to respond to the ill-informed comments about our organisation, raised by an unnamed source.
While we are certainly not answerable to faceless persons raising falsehoods about our organisation, we are happy to share a brief response in the public interest.

The ACM is a duly constituted, membership-based civil society organisation, registered as a non-profit organisation under South African law. It is non-partisan, that is, it is neither affiliated nor aligned with any political party.
