The number of people injured in a Russian airstrike on the city of Sumy has risen to 21, while three civilians were killed. Eight of the injured remain hospitalized, including two children.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated this on Facebook.

"As a result of the Russian attack, three civilians were killed — a 75-year-old woman and two men aged 54 and 77. Twenty-one people were injured. Eight are in hospitals, including two children," the statement said.

Four of the injured are in serious condition: a 16-year-old teenager, a 75-year-old woman, and two men aged 62 and 35. They underwent surgery.

Doctors continue to provide all necessary assistance, and the patients' condition remains serious.
