The number of people injured in a Russian glide bomb strike on the city of Sumy has risen to 17. Four people were killed, including a child. One of the bombs struck near a road and a public transport stop.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the update.
"Sumy. Another cynical attack by Russia. Four people have been killed, including a child. The number of injured has already risen to 17," the administration said.
According to the regional authorities, Russian forces dropped two glide bombs on a busy area where civilians, cars, and public transport were present. One of the bombs exploded near a road and a public transport stop, while the other targeted an infrastructure facility.
The administration stressed that Russia continues its attempts to destroy the city's critical infrastructure and was fully aware that civilians would be caught in the attack.
