A housebreaker and murderer will have to serve his life imprisonment sentence after the SCA turned down his objection against his dock identification.

He was convicted on the strength of the evidence of two eyewitnesses who identified him for the first time in court.
No prior identification parade was held. The question before the SCA was whether, notwithstanding the absence of a prior identification process, the State established beyond a reasonable doubt that he was one of the perpetrators.
