Image: Janne Lindroos / YleYle News9:46Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen (NCP) on Monday said she had summoned Russia's ambassador to Helsinki, Pavel Kuznetsov, in response to Russian cyber activities.In a post on X, Valtonen said the European Union had approved a new package of cyber sanctions and exposed criminal cyber actors linked to Russia, including individuals connected to the Federal Security Service (FSB).Several European countries reported on Monday that they had been affected by a widespread Russian cyber campaign that also reached Finland.At the same time, Finland's Security and Intelligence Service (Supo) and military intelligence issued a warning to Finnish companies about Russian attempts to gain access to poorly secured servers and other network devices.
