Image: John Palmén / YleYle News11:30Helsinki has summoned Russia's ambassador for talks in response to what it described as illegal threats, the Foreign Ministry posted on social media platform X.The move follows Russia's announcement on Monday that it would launch a systematic wave of strikes on Ukraine and urged foreign nationals and diplomats to leave Kyiv.The Foreign Ministry said that it "strongly condemns Russia's illegal threats and brutal attacks against civilians in Ukraine".Dozens of UN member states have condemned the threats against foreign diplomats. The EU also summoned Russia's chargé d'affaires in Brussels following Moscow's warning."Russia will not dictate Europe's presence in Ukraine," the ministry said.
