Previn Vedan, a lawyer and human rights activist from Shallcross, said drug dealing remained one of the most serious challenges facing Chatsworth and Shallcross.
He said the availability of drugs and its impact on families, young people and neighbourhoods, concerned residents.
“While law enforcement agencies continue to conduct operations, many communities feel that drug syndicates have become deeply entrenched. This is a social and economic crisis that is undermining the safety, well-being and future of our communities.
