The country's largest airline IndiGo and hospitality major Accor on Monday announced a strategic reciprocal loyalty partnership in India that will provide various benefits for their loyalty programme members. The partnership is between the airline's loyalty programme IndiGo BluChip and Accor's loyalty programme ALL Accor. At an event in the national capital to announce the partnership, IndiGo MD Rahul Bhatia said the opportunities within the Indian travel sector are immense and that the country is one of the world's most dynamic travel markets. "This relationship marks a significant milestone in our shared journey and creates a distinctive value proposition for our customers, seamlessly integrating convenient air travel with rewarding hospitality experiences. "Today's travellers increasingly seek connected and enriching journeys that bring together travel accommodation and destination experiences in a single cohesive ecosystem," Bhatia said. The partnership would allow the members to seamlessly convert ALL Accor reward points to IndiGo BluChips and vice-versa. "Whether flying with IndiGo across its rapidly expanding network of over 140 destinations within India and abroad, or staying across the ALL Accor's ecosystem, covering more than 45 brands from luxury to economy, members can seamlessly connect flights, stays and experiences, creating a more rewarding travel journey across India and beyond," a release said.
