The Siruvalur police arrested four persons and seized five kg of ganja meant for sale near the Sanarpalayam bus stop in Erode district on Monday (July 13, 2026).According to the police, the seizure was made as part of its intensified action against illegal activities being carried out across the district under the direct supervision of the Superintendent of Police.Acting on a tip-off that ganja was stored for sale near the Sanarpalayam bus stop, within the limits of the Siruvalur police station, a police team conducted a search and intercepted four migrant workers.The police identified the accused as Sampur Saran Mishra alias Raja (38), Agasti Adaber (30), Uma Khan Adaber (25), and Ukhil (24). About five kg of ganja was recovered from their possession.A case has been registered at the Siruvalur police station.
