Murder accused and UK fugitive, Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, made a brief court appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrate Court. Tshuma appeared before court for the alleged murder of his wife 42-year-old Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, and the couple's two daughters, Natalie, 15, and Nala, 5.

Murder-accused and United Kingdom fugitive Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma briefly appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday following his weekend arrest in Kensington.

The matter was postponed to 22 July to enable verification of Tshuma’s immigration status in South Africa, State prosecutor Henry Mbobo said.

"Your Honour, I request that this matter be postponed until 22 July to enable the court to verify the accused's legal status in the Republic," Mbobo stated.

British authorities are still seeking the extradition of Tshuma, accused of murdering his wife and two daughters in Great Denham, Bedfordshire, on 6 July.
