Several companies operate inspiring projects focused on diverse groups of employees.

Building an inclusive environment where people can find support and a helping hand – whether they are from groups often considered difficult to employ, such as former prisoners and people recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, members of the LGBT+ community, or unqualified workers – that is what the companies shortlisted for the Inclusive Employer Award, granted to firms creating the best possible working conditions for diverse groups of employees, have in common.

The current print version of the Career Guide can be purchased in our shop.

The award forms part of the Via Bona event, managed by the Pontis Foundation, which recognises inspiring examples of corporate social responsibility.

Gekkon, a Bratislava-based company specialising in handling equipment, spare parts, servicing and forklift rental, works with people who are often considered difficult to employ.
