The Command said the operation led to the recovery of suspected hard drugs, mobile phones, and other items believed to be linked to criminal activities.
The Ogun State Police Command has announced the arrest of 43 suspects during a late-night raid on a suspected criminal hideout in the Isheri-Olofin area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The Command said the operation led to the recovery of suspected hard drugs, mobile phones, and other items believed to be linked to criminal activities.
The police said the operation, carried out by operatives of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Unit under the ongoing Operation KOSAYE, was based on intelligence indicating that the location opposite the Kara Cattle Market had become a gathering point for suspected cultists, drug users, prostitutes, and other criminal elements.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the raid was conducted at about 11:00 p.m. on July 7, 2026.
