The Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency, Abdulrazak Namdas, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his renomination as the All Progressives Congress vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 general election, describing President Bola Tinubu’s decision as a demonstration of confidence in competence, loyalty and continuity in governance.
Namdas, a former member of the House of Representatives and spokesman for the 8th Assembly, said the decision to retain Shettima underscores the administration’s commitment to stability and teamwork as it seeks a second term in office.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, the DG also commended Tinubu for what he described as the foresight in retaining a deputy who has played an active role in the administration since it assumed office in May 2023.
