The Lagos State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to help identify the family of an 83-year-old man, Mr Oriowo Gabriel, who was found in the state and is currently in police protective custody.
The command made the appeal in a statement posted on its official X handle on Sunday.
According to the police, the elderly man was found by a good Samaritan and taken to the Ipaja Police Division, where he is receiving care.
The command said efforts to trace his relatives using the addresses he provided had been unsuccessful.
