EXCLUSIVE: The ITV reality series star opened up about the "crazy" filming experience.12:22, 10 Jul 2026An ITV reality star has revealed the “crazy” filming experience he faced, with the cast “led around in masks”.‌Clairvoyant Billy was among the contestants taking part in Nobody’s Fool, which premiered on ITV earlier this year.‌The gameshow, presented by Rivals co-stars Emily Atack and Danny Dyer, saw 10 contestants move into a ‘Smart House’ and work to build on a prize pot.‌But unlike other gameshows, instead of focusing on intelligence, the reality series switched to psychological mind games and social manipulation, with the players aiming to convince the others that they’re the smartest in the room - whether that be true or not.Billy has now exclusively revealed what being a part of the show was like, sharing at the National Film Awards that it was “crazy”.‌He went on: “It was my first foray into reality, the insanity of reality TV is just something to behold.“We were led around wearing masks because they were setting up the country home where they filmed it in Kent, so we were led around in masks, we were taken out with towels over our head in case there was press there. The whole thing was insane.”The Harrogate star went on: “I worried as an actor that I wouldn’t be able to turn off from the fact that there were cameras everywhere, you’re so in the game so quickly that you forgot about the cameras and literally got straight into it.‌“It was an experience, I didn’t realise there was as much in reality TV that goes into it.”Speaking about the build-up to filming, he continued: “The casting process was insane, that took seven months, and then when it happened, it happened so quickly, so it was like seven months of ups and downs and maybes and this, suddenly you’re there and it’s like blindfolds, do this, that, the other.‌“Because it was a brand new concept for ITV, they were learning as well. Danny Dyer and Emily Atack, they’re both new to hosting reality, they’re both brilliant, and I think everybody was finding their feet.“I’d definitely do reality TV again, Nobody’s Fool was fun, I thought it was really, really fun. I deserved to win, I didn’t deserve to go out the way I did, but big mouth me!”Article continues belowAhead of the new gameshow airing earlier this year, host Danny said "this is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end."Emily added: “It’s so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can’t wait for everyone to watch, it’s an absolute must see.”Nobody’s Fool is available to watch on ITVX
