Nuvola Media is unveiling a platform to address Bangkok's fragmented data.
Nuvola Media, a Singapore-based tech company specialising in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, has expanded its digital twin and AI solutions to Thailand, aiming to make Bangkok a safer, more resilient smart city.In introducing its Synoptic Intelligence Platform (SIP), Nuvola aims to address the city's fragmented data by integrating information from various government agencies, transport networks, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors into a single digital twin dashboard.
Digital twin technology refers to a virtual representation of a physical object or system that uses real-time data to reflect its real-world counterpart's behaviour.
The company also sees opportunities to use AI-powered drones to survey old buildings to ensure the structural safety of centuries-old structures.
"As Bangkok grows and becomes hyper-connected, the impact of fragmented data and disparate systems creates fragmentation, response delays, and in many cases compromises public safety," said Felix Tan, chief executive of Nuvola Media.
