South Africa's chilly winter continues with coastal rain on Thursday.

South Africans can expect another chilly winter’s day on Thursday.

2026, with most of the country remaining dry and cool, while light rain and showers are forecast for parts of the southern and eastern coastline.

According to the South African Weather Service, no severe weather warnings, fire danger alerts or advisories have been issued for the day.

Inland provinces, including Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, the Free State and much of Mpumalanga, will experience fine conditions with cold to cool temperatures and widespread morning frost in some areas.
